Blender Game Engine Medical Visualization Blood Flow Physics
Here's another visualization of blood flow using the blender game engine. This time I let the bullet physics engine do more work. Instead of spherical bounding boxes, the red blood cells have convex bounding hulls. Seems to work a lot better. Also, the friction of the blood vessel is set very low.
This uses the blender game engine to render the simulation in real time.
For fun, I put in an illustration of arteriosclerosis. A growing plaque on the lining of the blood vessel.

Yvonne Fuller My Cataract Experience by former BMJ Artist
I had successful lens replacement surgery for cataracts in 2006. New revolutionary TETRAFLEX lenses were used and I now am able to draw, paint and drive without glasses. I made these paintings as a record of my experience. I was an artist / illustrator for the British Medical Journal, BMJ, 1989-90.
The music is by Monteverdi and the Tenor is Hugues Cuenod
