While I've been making dozens of e-covers for my own product, I decided that it wouldn't be bad business to start making e-covers for other marketers and product owners. At first, I charged a fairly high fee ranging upwards of a couple hundreds of dollars... after all I was doing a quality service on their e-covers and, believe me, it was worth every penny!

World Record 100 Cone Challenge Oregon State Games 2008
Skatemom competing against all the men for the masters title. Wins the bronze for the second year in a row. Second run. Thanks Mark Harris for the video footage and support. John Ravitch kicked butt and so did Gareth Roe! The ISSA (International Skateboard Slalom Association) has ratified the following world records set at the Oregon State Games june 22 2008 in Salem Oregon: Judi Oyama 100-Cone clean Women Open and Masters division 30.544 I ran faster but not cleaner on my fastest run.

The Brief:
To produce a 30 SatTV ad based on an existing on-line brand. As ever care was taken to ensure the ad conformed with broadcasting regulations. To accommodate this two versions of the ad were produced for both pre and post watershed playout.
Overview:
The ad is consists of a large number of composited layers, most of which where taken from the original Illustrator and Photoshop files used to create the print and on-line branding for the site.

To produce a 10 second channel sponsorship ident. SportTV brought to you in association with kind of thing.
Overview:
The sequence was produced almost entirely in 3D and features some good old volumetric lighting plus some surface deformation for the wave effect. As they say the customer is always right!

Image Compositing
Overview:
The sequence was produced to illustrate both the design service offered by the Photo Creative but also some of the other digital services on offer. The rooms are in fact all stock photography. The illustrations from the site are actually composited into the scenes and the final compositions animated and music added. I also wrote the music for this one rather than using stock material hope you like it.
Concept to completion approximately 16 to 18 hours

50 Cone Practice NorCal
Gary Holl and I running a fast straight 50 6 feet apart in preparation for World Records weekend coming up in two weeks. We had huge tailwinds and picked up speed quickly too quickly! Doesn't look as fast as it was towards the bottom.

First ever Slalomcross race
First ever slalom cross race. 1/4 mile dual slalom 6 foot course top, downhill section split to dual. Two riders one course. This is a qualifying run. I placed first in the women's. I hadn't raced this fast in years. Scary fun. Bahne Cadillac 2003 Judi Oyama Footage by John Ravitch
